COVID-19 Update

To Our Valued Clients:

First let us say how much we appreciate your continued patience and cooperation with our necessary COVID-19 protocols. Implementing them has made it possible for us to continue to serve pets in our community.

Though COVID-19 infections are declining, we are choosing to stay with our curbside appointment procedures for now. We’re doing this out of an abundance of concern for your health as well as that of our team, as we want to make sure infection rates stay in decline. Also, we need adequate time to determine the best way to safely handle the transition back to an open hospital. 

While we don’t plan to revert completely to how it was before the pandemic, in the next few weeks we plan to reopen the building with specific safety protocols in place. If infection rates stay low, we will move forward with revised safety measures that will allow a loosening of current protocols while still keeping the risk of exposure low.

In the coming weeks we’ll work on the best way to implement new procedures, but until those are established our team is happy to continue to communicate with you via ZOOM during appointments so you can be “virtually” present with your pet while they’re inside. If you do not wish to use ZOOM, we will gladly call you after examining your pet to discuss our findings and make recommendations.

Masks are still mandatory for all team members in the hospital, and we require that clients wear one when we greet you to escort your pet to or from our building. If you or someone in your household is ill, please refrain from coming to our hospital. You can view our complete curbside protocol here.

We know this has been a long and trying year for everyone, and we sincerely appreciate how understanding our clients have been with the necessary restrictions and changes.
