Certain conditions, like an infection, may be treated and cured as a one-time event. Others, like allergies, skin diseases, and inflammatory bowel disease, are more chronic and may need to be managed over a long period of time. We have the ability to perform a number of diagnostics on site for faster identification of any illnesses and provide treatments quickly. Such diagnostics include blood monitoring (complete blood count, chemistry, electrolytes, heartworm and tick-borne illness screening, feline viral testing), digital radiographs (x-rays), urinalysis, microscopic tissue evaluation (FNA), and eye ulcer and pressure evaluation.

Using these tools, we are able to diagnose and provide your pet with management solutions for ailments, short and long. If further assistance or advanced diagnostics are needed, we can partner with local specialists to ensure your pet is receiving the best care possible.



COVID-19 Update for Our Woodley Gardens Veterinary Care Family

Effective June 25th, 2020

Even though we have resumed full services and restrictions are starting to ease in our region, the coronavirus is still present and a serious concern. For that reason, we feel it is in the best interests of our team and clients to continue curbside care for the foreseeable future.

This means we will continue to limit access to our hospital to Woodley Gardens team members and client pets only, and our doctors will communicate with you via ZOOM conference during the appointment, or on the phone right after your pet’s appointment. If you use the ZOOM app, you can see your pet during the appointment. You can view our complete curbside protocol here.

We will also continue to maintain rigorous cleaning protocols, strict hand-washing procedures, and a mandatory stay-at-home policy for any staff member who is feeling ill. Temperatures are taken before each shift, and we require masks for all staff as well.

We ask that if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19 that you find alternative transportation for your pet and alert us that he or she is coming from a COVID-19 positive household.
