Dr. Rapp likes both dogs and cats, but is a cat-lover at heart. He loves challenging cases with geriatric cats that have multiple issues. He currently lives in Columbia with his wife Gwen and their 4 cats: Ivy, Claire, Floyd, and Juniper.
Dr. Rapp is a member of the AVMA, MDVMA, Feline VMA, and American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology. He became a member of the Phi Zeta Veterinary Medical Honor Society in 2017. He is a USDA APHIS Accredited Veterinarian and can write domestic and international health certificates for dogs and cats. He is currently working on ABVP certification in Canine & Feline Practice.
Outside of work, Dr. Rapp enjoys exercising, playing the piano, hiking, writing computer programs, playing video games, and watching anime. He also enjoys writing computer programs that make his life or his coworkers’ lives easier.
