COVID-19 Update for Our Woodley Gardens Veterinary Care Family
Effective September 29th, 2020
With COVID-19 still a concern and flu season upon us, keeping everyone safe and well is a priority at our hospital. For those reasons, we are continuing curbside care for pets until further notice.
This means access to our hospital building will be limited to Woodley Gardens team members and client pets only. Our doctors can communicate with you via the ZOOM app during the appointment, or on the phone right after your pet’s appointment. You can view our complete curbside protocol here.
We want you to know that we are also regularly adjusting our internal procedures to better serve you and your pets while still maintaining strict cleanliness protocols. Those protocols include rigorous cleaning of our facility, specific hand-washing procedures, and a mandatory stay-at-home policy for any team member who is feeling ill for any reason. Temperatures are taken before each shift, and we require masks for all staff as well. We ask that all clients wear masks when we are greeting you to escort your pet to or from the hospital.
Finally, we ask that if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to COVID-19, that you do not come to the hospital. If your pet needs care that cannot wait until you are no longer sick, please find alternative transportation for your pet and alert us that he or she is coming from a COVID-19 positive household.
